Bringing the Doom Book Cover Design
Richie Leyland is a writer from the Buffalo, NY area. For his third novel, he chose to craft a satirical dark comedy revolving around a musician. Using the minimalist retro style, we wanted to incorporate elements from the story without revealing too much. Due to the nature of the book, this seemed to be the best approach for the cover although different in nature from his previous two novels.
Brian Platter did a great job with the cover art for my new novel. From the beginning, Brian effectively communicated how he wanted to present his interpretation of the themes that I wanted to portray. I found that he complemented my work process beyond my satisfaction and he got the work done in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price. When I saw the finished product, it blew me away. It hit the mark and captivated the whole vibe of the book perfectly. I’m excited that this work is gracing the cover of my newest novel, Bringing The Doom. My experience of working with Brian was outstanding and I would work with him again should the opportunity present itself.
